"A Timely Approach for the Treatment of Postpartum Hemorrhage" is a workshop provided by Organon on Jada System. Please note that this session will be presented by Organon and as such will not offer CME credit. To be presented by: Kara Rood, MD, MFM, The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. Dr. Rood is a Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist actively involved on labor floor and in clinical research. Her areas of interest include the physiology and prevention of postpartum hemorrhage and establishing best practices of care for individuals with substance use disorder during pregnancy.
OBJECTIVES:
- Outline the need for improved recognition and intervention of abnormal bleeding and postpartum hemorrhage
- Review clinical data and instructions for use for a vacuum-induced hemorrhage control system
- Discuss approaches to optimize use of a vacuum-induced hemorrhage control system
