"Menorrhagia in Adolescents with Bleeding Disorders," to be presented by Dr. Jaime Jones, Clinical Associate, Department of OB/GYN, will cover the following:
- Review of menorrhagia terminology
- Discuss psychosocial effects of menorrhagia in the adolescent
- Overview of bleeding disorders and primary/secondary hemostasis
- Discuss when and who to test for bleeding disorders
- Brief discussion of treatment of AUB in the adolescent with a bleeding disorder and associated considerations
