Pregnancy is associated with abdominal pain, most commonly contractions; however, many other etiologies exist that contribute to the presentation of pain. In "Abdominal pain in pregnancy," Ivonne Durand Ruiz, DO, MPH, Clinical Associate, Department of OB/GYN, UICOMP, will cover the following objectives:
1). Understand different presentations of abdominal pain
2). Recognize signs and symptoms for evaluation of abdominal pain
3). How to arrive at diagnosis
4). Management of different causes of abdominal pain in pregnancy
