"Prescribing exercise, a worthy enterprise!" to be presented by Katelyn Omachi, MD, Clinical Associate, Department of OB/GYN, UICOMP, will cover the effects and benefits of physical activity and exercise in the low risk pregnant patient.

OBJECTIVES:
1). Discuss the maternal-fetal physiological effects of exercise on the pregnant patient
2). Risks and benefits of exercise in normal low risk patient
3). How to encourage our sedentary pregnant patient to incorporate physical activity in the antepartum period
