“Breathing Easier,” to be presented by Emily McLaughlin, MD, Clinical Associate, Department of OB/GYN, UICOMP, will review the use of antenatal corticosteroids and their indication as well as discussion on safety.
Objectives:
1). Review which steroids are used and their function
2). Review indication and recent changes in the recommendations for use
3). Discuss possible harms with steroids and how we approach them
