This continuing medical education program will inform physicians and other health care providers of the symptoms and signs that would suggest a patient is subject to human trafficking or child abuse. Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize “Red Flags” for human trafficking and child abuse
  • Understand the role of ambulatory healthcare in the recognition of trafficking or abuse
  • State the importance of both recognition and mandated reporting
