The purpose of this presentation is to equip healthcare professionals and educators with the knowledge, communication strategies, and practical resources needed to effectively teach expectant parents about fetal movement monitoring. Participants will learn how to facilitate meaningful conversations about fetal movement awareness, utilize the free Count the KicksĀ® app and educational tools, respond appropriately to reports of reduced fetal movement, address common questions, and share compelling real-life stories that demonstrate how increased awareness of fetal movement can empower families and potentially save babies' lives.
Target Audience: Those working in the Perinatal Specialty
Objectives:
- Discuss how to best utilize the free tools and resources available to them
- Discuss what to say or do if an expectant mom tells them they are experiencing reduced fetal movement
- Discuss the most frequently asked questions related to fetal movement monitoring
- Associate the powerful stories of what happens when expectant parents learn about fetal movement monitoring and how they can use that knowledge to help save their baby those working in the Perinatal Specialty
