Purpose: To provide education and specific strategies for nurses on Perinatal, postpartum anxiety and behavioral disorders.
Objectives:
• Define Trauma-Informed Care and Adverse Childhood Experiences.
• Identify 4 health linked health outcomes.
• Describe the risk of suicidality in the perinatal period.
• Discuss 3 Trauma-Informed Care techniques in caring for the Mother/Infant and NICU families.
