The AFHMPP workshop is designed for registered nurses who have successfully completed the AWHONN two-day workshop, a comparable fetal heart monitoring workshop, and/or are certified in fetal heart monitoring. In order to facilitate successful completion of the Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring Principles and Practices Workshop, participants are expected to:

  • Purchase the required Student Pack which can be purchased from Kendall Hunt at 800.338.8290 —

Advanced Course Student Pack. You will receive course information with your confirmation. 

  • Review Fetal Heart Monitoring Principles and Practices, 5th Edition, 2015 prior to attending the AFHMPP workshop (which can be purchased from Kendall Hunt at 800.338.8290).

Upon successful completion of the course participants earn 9.0 contact hours of continuing education. There will be an optional exam to be done via computer after course completion.
