Stop by to have a free professional portrait taken any time between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, in Beckman’s third floor tower room (3269). Photos will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis, so no need to make an appointment. Short lines are possible, but our photographer works quite efficiently.

In this introductory workshop, we will be learning about basic 3D Printing modeling with TinkerCAD. We will provide a walkthrough and activity with this software. After registering, please create a TinkerCAD account. TinkerCAD is a free browser-based software that we will be using in the introductory 3D design workshop.

In this session, students will learn about general and subject-specific indexing and abstracting resources, search techniques, and interacting with collections held at the University of Illinois and beyond. This session is open to all doctoral students. We are extending an invitation to master's degree students to attend this session.

Systematic reviews are a form of structured research that requires a comprehensive collection, appraisal, and summary of all research on a topic. Systematic reviews are high-impact publications that carry weight to inform evidence-based decision making.

In this session, we will discuss AI applications and how they can help with dissertation research. This session is open to all doctoral students. Please complete the form to register for the workshop. It will be conducted through Zoom. We are extending an invitation to master's degree students to attend this workshop.

New York–based artist Ronny Quevedo will discuss his solo exhibition "Ronny Quevedo: a l l s t a r s," on view at Krannert Art Museum through December 6, 2025. This expansive project includes drawings from several lenders across the United States and a monumental sculpture. He will be joined in conversation by museum curators Amy L. Powell and Allyson Purpura.
