Events of the Week

The target audience is registered nurses working OB, PP/MB, NB Nursery, Level I, Level II and Level II-e Nursery with clinical experience/tenure of 2 weeks- 24 months. RN must work in the IL Perinatal Networks.

This is a virtual advanced 8-hour course designed to assist the health care provider prepare for the NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring Subspecialty Certification computer-based examination. A detailed electronic handout is provided and sample test questions are discussed.

This One-day course provides the RN with the skills to assess and document fetal status and to be knowledgeable of the nursing interventions appropriate for the fetal status. FHR patterns are discussed in both the antepartum and intrapartum setting. Documentation issues and methods of antepartum testing will be included.

This on demand activity presents information about human trafficking for health care providers, also discussing unique red flags for healthcare providers.
