    The Harvesting Hope fundraising gala helps the Pediatric Resource Center ensure its clinics are staffed with special-trained providers and case coordinators so children receive the services they need. Funds raised also help the PRC provide education to physicians and nurses regarding child abuse and neglect.

    The Tracy Trot, a 4-mile run and 2-mile walk held at the East Peoria Levee District, is the primary fundraiser for the Theresa Tracy Strive to Survive charitable foundation created to help in the battle against pancreatic cancer. Funds raised go to help supporting pancreatic cancer research at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria and Illinois Cancer Care.
