History Hike at White Rock Nature Preserve

Join us for an interesting and informative hike led by Alleen Betzenhauser, Illinois State Archaeologist and Clifftop board member, in celebration of Illinois Archaeology Awareness Month. The hike will explore the history of the White Rock property and surrounding areas, with a focus on pre-colonial Native American settlement and land use, as well as cultural resource conservation.

This event is geared toward adults and teens. Please note that portions of the trail include steep terrain. Long pants and closed-toe shoes are advised. There is no fee for this field trip, although donations to Clifftop are welcome.
