The Faculty Development Book Club will be reading Thanks for the Feedback: the science and art of receiving feedback well by Douglas Stone and Sheila Heen (2015). This book focuses on developing your skills in both giving and receiving feedback in any setting.
Goal of the UIC COD Faculty Development Book Club: The Goal of this activity is to create a conversation around contemporary issues in education and to enhance motivation for continuous personal and professional development around the delivery of education (pedagogy) and its role in the creation of a learner-centered educational system.
