We are excited to announce that the Christian Medical and Dental Association is, once again, hosting an Ash Wednesday gathering on February 14th at 12:35 PM in Lecture Hall North. This day marks the beginning of the season of Lent, a 40-day period of reflection, growth, and spiritual discipline for many ChristiaWe are pleased to continue our collaboration with UIC's Newman Center for this event with the hope of bringing our East and West campus communities closer together. The event will include the imposition of ashes, prayer, and contemplation, and will be led by our own CMDA members as well as Fr. Connor of UIC's Newman Center.
All members of the college community are welcome to attend, regardless of their religious affiliation or background. We encourage you to invite your friends and colleagues, as this service is a great opportunity to take a break from your busy schedule and reflect on your life and faith.
