The goal of the Medical Education Grand Round Series is to promote and share current scholarship related to teaching practices, improve faculty and clinician teaching skills and provide a forum for teaching faculty to share their results from medical education research.
As a result of this session faculty will be able to:
- Identify how unconscious judgements can affect from an individual level to a system level
- Determine how implicit bias presents regularly in medical education
- Discuss strategies for minimizing the impact of implicit bias
