Students, staff, faculty and the community are invited to hear some health tips and then take a walk along the recreation path at Rock River Recreation Path, 200 Y Blvd., Rockford.
Cardiologist Dr. Jeff Smith, head of the Department of Medicine and Medical Specialties at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford, will provide some health tips and lead the walk. Medical students will also assist with the walk that is either 1 mile or 2 miles on paved, flat trail along the river.
