Walk-in flu shots are available to UIC Health Sciences Campus-Rockford students at Student Health and Wellness during the following hours:
- Tuesday, October 25, 8 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, October 26, 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
- Thursday, October 27, 8 a.m.-noon
Remember to keep proof of flu vaccination for purposes of your program, clinical sites/rotations, and compliance. Upload or turn in as appropriate per your college.
You are not in Rockford? Missed the time? Weekend is better? You’ll be in Chicago?
- Retail pharmacies everywhere are administering flu shots – most bill your insurance for complete coverage, or have discounted rates (~20$). You can go anywhere that is convenient.
- Local health departments have many free flu clinics. The Winnebago County Health Department is already scheduling appointments next month for free.
- UIC Today announced locations for students in Chicago.
