"A Realistic Human Avatar Mobile Phone App as a Medication Adherence Intervention for Young African American MSM Living with HIV"

Description:
This lecture will present and explain a mobile phone app developed for young African-American men who have sex with men (MSM) living with HIV to promote antiretroviral adherence and retention and care. This unique app features a talking realistic human avatar that motivates, reminds, empathizes, and educates and is currently being tested in a 3-city randomized clinical trial.
