Objectives:
- Participants will be able to identify unsafe sleep products on the market.
- Participants will be able to discuss the current American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommendations regarding safe sleep for baby along with strategies to prevent sleep-related infant deaths (SUID, SIDS).
- Participants will be able to identify and discuss the three safest places for infant to sleep.
Target Audience:
Providers, Midwives, Nurses working L&D, Antepartum, Postpartum, Social Workers.
1 continuing Nursing education hours will be awarded to participants with successful completion.
