Lunch and Learn: ILPQC Perinatal Mental Health Initiative: providing optimal PMH care for every patient

Purpose:  

This presentation aims to highlight perinatal mental health as a leading contributor to maternal morbidity and mortality, introduce key strategies from the ILPQC Perinatal Mental Health Initiative, and support obstetric clinical teams in implementing effective, coordinated approaches to screening, referral, and management across the perinatal continuum.  

Objectives: 

1) Identify perinatal mental health as a leading cause of maternal morbidity and mortality 

2) List key strategies of the ILPQC Perinatal Mental Health Initiative

3) Discuss optimal perinatal mental health care management for the OB clinical team
