Purpose: 

Inform professionals in the perinatal specialty of a new law, Liam’s Law, put in place as of July 1^st, 2025.  This law gives parents who experience fetal demise the right to a birth certificate as well as a death certificate.

Objectives: 

1. Summarize the key provisions of Liam’s Law (PA 103-0948)
2. Identify opportunities to optimize care for postpartum patients who experience stillbirth
