The Circuit is a FREE program designed to support incoming first-year and transfer students as they begin their journey at Illinois.Hosted by the Bruce D. Nesbitt African American Cultural Center (BNAACC), this two-day program is centered on education related to the African diaspora, with a strong emphasis on fostering cultural understanding, building community, and ensuring academic success.
While the Circuit centers the experiences and histories of the African diaspora, all students are welcome and encouraged to participate in the full program. We believe that everyone benefits from a deeper understanding of culture, identity, and community—core values that are central to BNAACC’s mission.
